As a professional athlete, I had always been obsessed with finding ways to improve my physical performance and take my training to the next level. So when I heard about the practice of semen retention and its supposed benefits for physical and mental health, I was immediately intrigued.

Semen retention challenges the idea of the modern masculinity that pressure men to be Soft, Docile, and emotional, and encourages them to be more in tune with their natural bodies and true Strengths. It can help men cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and self-control, leading to deeper, more fulfilling relationships and a more positive, balanced, and healthy version of masculinity.

According to proponents of semen retention, the practice helps men tap into their “life force” or “chi” and channel it into more productive and creative endeavors, rather than dissipating it through ejaculation.
